Q: What is the Baton Rouge Area Sports Foundation?
A: The Sports Foundation is a 501c(6) organization whose primary mission is to develop and secure athletic activities that bring Economic Impact to East Baton Rouge Parish. We work with local, state, regional, national, and international groups to reach this goal.
Q: Are you a part of the CVB, Mayor's Office, BREC, the Baton Rouge Area Foundation, or LSU?
A: No. Even though we do work with all of these groups we are an independent organization. We are housed in the office of the Baton Rouge Convention and Visitors Bureau.
Q: I am interested in bringing an event to Baton Rouge, how can the Sports Foundation help me?
A: The Sports Foundation welcomes any group to set up an appointment to discuss your events. Please see our services page for a list of a few ways we can help. The Sports Foundation prides itself on building relationships with our partners and we hope to be able to serve you.
Q: I am interested in using Oak Villa Softball Complex. How do I reserve the facility?
A: Call Heath Aucoin at 225-382-3596 to find out more information about availability and rental rates. The Sports Foundation partners with BREC to bring baseball and softball tournaments on the weekends.

A: The Baton Rouge Area Convention and Visitors Bureau's website is your one stop shop for what is going on in Baton Rouge and the surrounding areas.
Q: Does the Sports Foundation give sponsorships?
A: As a non-profit organization the Sports Foundation does not have a large amount of money for sponsorships. We use our expertise to try to help groups decrease expenses and find creative ways to make an event better without spending large amounts of money.
